Frequently Asked Questions
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a healthcare model where patients pay directly for care instead of billing insurance. This allows providers to spend more time with patients, offer easier access to care, and build stronger, more personal relationships.
While Tailor Made Health Services is not a traditional monthly DPC membership, we follow many of the same principles—transparent pricing, unrushed visits, and care centered around the individual rather than insurance requirements.
Traditional healthcare systems often involve long wait times, short visits, and complex insurance rules. At Tailor Made Health Services, care is simplified and personalized.
You benefit from:
Longer, more meaningful visits
Direct access to your provider
Transparent, upfront pricing
Virtual and in-home care options
A focus on prevention, wellness, and long-term health
Insurance is important for major or unexpected medical events such as hospitalizations, surgeries, or specialist care. However, insurance alone does not always provide easy access, longer visits, or personalized care.
By paying directly for your care, you’re investing in:
Time and access to your provider
Personalized, root-cause focused care
Preventive and wellness-based strategies
Cost transparency with no surprise bills
Think of insurance as your safety net and Tailor Made Health Services as your everyday partner in health.
Tailor Made Health Services is a cash-pay practice and does not bill commercial insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid for services.
You may still use your insurance outside of our practice for things like:
Prescriptions
Specialist visits
Hospital care
Additional lab work (when applicable)
This model allows us to focus fully on you—without restrictions, rushed visits, or red tape.
Your health is important to us. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department immediately.
For urgent concerns outside of regular office hours, you may contact your provider by phone, text, or email.
For non-urgent questions, please reach out during regular office hours so we can give your concern the time and attention it deserves.
GLP-1 and GIP medications are prescription treatments that mimic natural gut hormones your body already produces. These hormones help regulate:
Appetite
Blood sugar
Digestion
How your body uses and stores energy
These medications were originally developed to treat:
Type 2 diabetes
Insulin resistance
Prediabetes or elevated A1C
Metabolic syndrome
They help improve insulin response and support healthier blood sugar regulation, which can also support weight management.
GLP-1/GIP medications may support weight loss by:
Slowing stomach emptying so you feel full longer
Helping reduce appetite and cravings
Improving blood sugar balance
Supporting more stable energy levels throughout the day
When paired with personalized dosing, guidance, and lifestyle support, many patients find it easier to build sustainable habits and see consistent progress.
Every patient is different. Eligibility is determined through a medical consultation that reviews your health history, goals, and lab data when appropriate.

Increased energy
Reduced fatigue
